Slimming World Recipe: Overnight delights

If you’re a Slimming World member then I’m sure you’ve heard of IMG_0254overnight oats, it’s a simple recipe plus it’s yummy! I first found the recipe from the Slimming World website, it literally takes 5 minutes to put together.

I’ve shown a picture of what mine usually looks like, you can add all different fruits and yogurts to it, it’s syn free depending on what yogurts you use and then your healthy extra B.

There is more than just overnight oats, I can’t take credit for this one as I found it on Instagram – overnight couscous! I know it sounds so weird, I wasn’t sure at first but trust me it’s good, plus it saves you on your healthy extra B and it’s very filling

Overnight couscous:
45g couscous (or however much you’d like to use, it’s syn free after all)
Frozen berries (I find frozen always works better)
1 Muller light yogurt (you can use whatever you like)

I mix the couscous and yogurt first in a bowl just to make sure all the couscous is covered then I start layering it in a jar with frozen berries, then leave overnight and it’s delicious.

My next idea I came up with myself but I’m sure it’s not original. After I tried oats and couscous I thought why not try muesli? On Slimming World you’re allowed 35g of Dorset Cereals, I use the simply delicious muesli but you can use whatever you’d like and just syn it if needed.

Overnight Muesli:
35g Dorset Cereals simply delicious muesli
Muller light yogurt (or any you prefer)
Frozen berries (you can use fresh fruit if you’d like, same with all the recipes)

I layer this in a jar, I start with yogurt, berries then add half of the cereal then I layer it again the same way and finish off with yogurt on top.

I know a popular breakfast on Slimming World is fruit and yogurt which I have a lot. I find that frozen fruit and yogurt left overnight is so much yummier if you fancy a change. It saves your healthy extras which is always a bonus plus it’s easy.

I buy summer fruits which have cherries, strawberries and berries in. If you mix any type of frozen fruit with any yogurt you prefer and leave it overnight in a jar or bowl then by the morning it’s very tasty!
